Tourism programme

Among the growing programs of the company Unior is its Tourism program, which has been developing since the 1970s on the foundation of natural resources found in Pohorje. The first tourist challenges were offered by Rogla, a mountain health resort and Olympic training and ski centre at 1517 metres above sea level. The offer was complemented by the thermal health resort Terme Zrece. The mountain and thermal health resorts are located only 15 kilometres apart.

At Rogla, the company Unior d.d. developed an alluring tourist attraction for all seasons. In the winter, guests can enjoy the well groomed skiing slopes with two chair lifts for four persons, 11 ski-lifts, and the possibility of making of artificial snow; these guarantee 100 days of skiing. In the summer, Rogla is a welcoming place for cycling enthusiasts, walkers, mushroom pickers, and people who like other forms of outdoor recreation. The excellent recreational facilities comprise the Olympic Centre, which is used by many of the world's best athletes for their physical and tactical preparations.

In Zrece, the development of tourism was prompted by the discovery of healing thermal springs underneath the ground. Terme Zrece health resort is placed at the top of quality Slovenian spas with its 1600 m2 of pools; its water and pearl springs and other water attractions; its Sauna Village with Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas; its heated ceramic beds; its resting places on the hayrack and its vitamin corner; its diverse choice of classic, Thai, shiatsu, and other massages; its centre for traditional therapy Sawaddee; its fitness centre; and many other attractions. Guests can choose between different hotel and apartment possibilities.
